Fidelity Bank and Newgen Software have been awarded the Best Self-Service Banking Technology Implementation at the Asian Banker Middle East and Africa Regional Awards 2020.

The Asian Banker Financial Technology Innovation Awards Programme provides the undisputed benchmark of technology innovation in an increasingly fierce marketplace.

The awards ceremony was held virtually on November 5, 2020.

Fidelity Bank implemented Newgen’s online account opening solution to enable remote customer onboarding and expanded its scope to include self-servicing in malls, universities, and even in-branch onboarding.

The award was received on behalf of Fidelity Bank by Mr. Simon Adu-Gyamfi, Director of Banking Operations, and on behalf of Newgen by Mr. Nikhil Sawhney, Head of Strategic Accounts, EMEA.
